Between January and March of 2021, Radio Voorwaarts wanted to do something to help the spaces in Amsterdam we no longer have access to, that were always places of resistance, against gentrification, the status-quo, the perpetual capitalistic demand for economic growth, and the conformization of culture in big cities.

We miss spaces like OT301, Vondelbunker, Nieuwe Anita, De Trut, and countless others, and we know you do too. That’s why we also thought that while you’re at home on the couch past curfew with your roommates, family, or friends, bored out of your mind - we could bring back the feeling of community that we had in those places directly to you. We raised roughly 4500 for the different spaces on GoFundMe.
